In collaboration with Buffalo Rock, over 200 UMA members across Alabama participate in a fundraiser for Children’s of Alabama. For every purchase of a Pepsi product, UMA donates a portion of the proceeds and collects donations at the register to support ill and injured children treated at the Children’s Hospital, the state’s only freestanding pediatric hospital.
As a result of our partnership, the Children’s Hospital of Alabama has received over $80,000 in donations from UMA due to fundraising efforts across the state in the last six years.
In addition to the partnership with Children’s of Alabama, UMA also partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities®. The charity aims to provide families with accommodations at the Ronald McDonald House® in Birmingham, Alabama, and other arrangements while their children are treated at Children’s or different centers.
